What is a Vapor Phase Corrosion Inhibitor (VpCI)?

  • A carboxylate amine salt created by manufacturing that’s safe to the environment, animals, and people
  • A molecule is chemically attracted to the surface of the metal and aligns itself on the surface of the metal
  • The VpCI repels water and oxygen that would fuel the development of rust
  • This protection will last for years and the VpCI will not have any effect on any other components
